What is the difference between FCL and LCL?
FCL (Full Container Load) gives your cargo a container to itself. LCL (Less than Container Load) shares a container with other shippers, and you pay only for the space you use. LCL suits smaller consignments; FCL is usually better value once you fill around half a container.
Do I need an IEC to export from India?
Yes. An Importer-Exporter Code is required for almost all commercial exports from India. We can apply for a new IEC or amend an existing one.
Do you handle door-to-door shipments to Dubai?
Yes. We pick up from your factory and deliver to your buyer in the UAE, supported by our office in Ras Al Khaimah.
Can you help with duty drawback and RoDTEP claims?
Yes. We handle duty drawback refunds from customs and RoDTEP / RoSCTL licences, including their sale and purchase.
Which documents do I need for my first export shipment?
Typically a commercial invoice, packing list, IEC and AD Code registration at the port; we file the shipping bill. We confirm the exact list for your cargo and destination.

Which Indian ports do you ship from?
Mainly Nhava Sheva (JNPT), Mundra and Mumbai Port. Tell us where your cargo is and we’ll suggest the best port of loading.
Can you ship hazardous (DG) cargo by sea?
Send the UN number and safety data sheet with your enquiry. We check carrier acceptance for your lane and confirm what’s possible before booking.
When should I choose air over sea freight?
Air suits urgent or high-value cargo where speed matters more than cost. For heavier, less urgent shipments, sea freight is usually far cheaper.
How is air freight charged?
By chargeable weight: the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight of your cargo. Send us the dimensions and weight and we’ll calculate it for you.
Who pays duties and taxes at the destination?
That depends on the Incoterms agreed with your buyer. Tell us your terms and we’ll explain what each side pays.
Can you pick up from outside Mumbai?
Tell us your pickup location in the enquiry and we’ll confirm the arrangements and cost.
Do you clear imports as well as exports?
Yes. We handle import clearance by sea and air, including bill of entry filing and duty assessment support.
What is a CFS?
A Container Freight Station is a customs-bonded facility near the port where cargo is stuffed into or unloaded from containers, consolidated for LCL and examined by customs.
Can you store cargo before the vessel sails?
Yes. Tell us the dates and volume and we’ll arrange storage near the port until loading.
What is third-country trade?
Third-country trade means goods move between two countries other than India, for example from an overseas supplier straight to an overseas buyer. We arrange the freight and the paperwork.
What is a customs bonded warehouse?
A secure warehouse approved by customs where goods can be stored without paying duty until they are cleared for sale or sent on to another country.

Do you have an office in the UAE?

Do you ship to both Jeddah and Dammam?
Yes. Jeddah serves the Red Sea coast and western region; Dammam serves the Gulf coast and eastern region. We’ll suggest the right port for your buyer.
Who clears customs in the UK?
Usually your buyer’s customs agent, or our partner if you need delivery to the door. Tell us your Incoterms and we’ll plan accordingly.
What is ISF and who files it?
The Importer Security Filing is required by US Customs before sea cargo is loaded. Your US importer or their broker files it; we provide the shipment details they need in time.
Do you ship to other African ports?
Mombasa and Lagos are our main lanes. For other ports, send us the destination and we’ll check options through our agent network.
Can you handle imports from China?
Yes. We arrange freight from Chinese ports and airports to India, clear the cargo at Nhava Sheva, Mundra or Mumbai Air Cargo, and deliver it to you. Our agent network supports your supplier at the China end.
Which ports in China do you ship from?
Mainly Shanghai, Ningbo, Qingdao, Tianjin, Shenzhen (Yantian) and Guangzhou. Tell us where your supplier is and we will suggest the best port.
Do I need an IEC to import into India?
Yes. An Importer-Exporter Code is needed for commercial imports. If you do not have one yet, we can apply for it.
Who files the bill of entry and pays the duty?
We file the bill of entry on ICEGATE and tell you the duty payable. Once the duty is paid, we clear the cargo and arrange delivery.
Should I ship from China by sea or by air?
Sea freight suits heavier and less urgent cargo; air suits urgent or high-value goods. Send us the weight, volume and deadline and we will compare both.
Can I import less than a full container?
Yes. With LCL you share a container with other shippers and pay only for the space you use, which suits consignments that do not fill a container.
